We respect your privacy and your right to control your data. If you wish to permanently delete your Meter Rider account and all associated data, you can submit a request by following the steps below.
How to Request Deletion
To initiate the deletion process, please send an email to our support team:

Required Information:
- Your registered Phone Number
- Account ID (if known)
- A brief statement requesting deletion
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Once your request is processed, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed:
- User Profile: Name, email, profile photos, and personal identifiers.
- Contact Details: Registered phone number and address details.
- Ride History: Past trip logs and ride metrics.
- Location Data: Any saved location history associated with your driver profile.
Data Retention & Legal Requirements
Please note that certain data may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion:
- Legal & Transactional Records: Some transaction or ride logs may be retained for up to 90 days (or longer) if required by local law for tax, audit, or legal compliance purposes.
- Anonymized Analytics: We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable data for analytics and service improvement, which cannot be traced back to you.
Deletion Timeline
We process account deletion requests manually to ensure accuracy. Your request will be reviewed and processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
